Before co-founding Portea Medical, Meena Ganesh had already established herself as a serial entrepreneur and business leader. She was the CEO of Talisma Corporation, a CRM software company, and later a key player in TutorVista, an online education company that was eventually acquired by Pearson for $213 million.
She is also a partner at GrowthStory.in, a platform that incubates and supports early-stage ventures in high-growth sectors. Through GrowthStory, Meena and Ganesh have been instrumental in building companies like BigBasket, Bluestone, and HomeLane.
Her educational background includes a Physics degree from Delhi University and an MBA from IIM Calcutta, making her one of the few women to have made a mark at the intersection of business, healthcare, and technology in India.
