From a young age, I harbored a deep fascination for design, space, and color. Recognizing my innate talent, my class teacher encouraged me to pursue a career in architecture. Fueled by passion and guided by ambition, I embarked on a journey that would shape the course of my professional life.
After honing my skills and gaining invaluable experience over five years in the architectural industry, I took a bold step towards independence. In 2015, I ventured into freelancing, eager to explore new horizons and carve my niche in the field. This journey of self-discovery culminated in the establishment of Nakoda Architects in 2019, marking the beginning of a new chapter in my career.
However, just as the firm began to gain momentum, fate dealt a cruel blow with the onset of the 2020 lockdown. Overnight, our plans were derailed, and the future looked uncertain. Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, it was the unwavering support of our clients that served as a beacon of hope. Despite the challenges, four projects that were in progress before the lockdown resumed immediately once restrictions were lifted.
In the face of adversity, the resilience and determination of Nakoda Architects shone through. Guided by a steadfast commitment to excellence and fueled by the unwavering support of family, we weathered the storm and emerged stronger than ever.
Every setback was a lesson learned, every obstacle a stepping stone towards growth. As we navigated the complexities of the architectural landscape, we embraced a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Each project became an opportunity to refine our skills, incorporating lessons learned from past mistakes and experiences.
