Nuthan Manohar’s story is one of resilience, transformation, and purpose. From battling personal health struggles to becoming a global thought leader in well-being, she has seamlessly blended ancient wisdom with modern science to create innovative solutions that improve lives. As the Founder & CEO of Me Met Me, Nuthan has pioneered well-being interventions that help individuals and organizations combat stress, burnout, and mental fatigue. Her work, spanning over 19 years, has influenced thousands of individuals, corporate teams, and communities worldwide.
This is the inspiring journey of a woman who turned her personal pain into a powerful mission—helping people find happiness, build resilience, and experience deep, restorative rest.
A Journey Rooted in Personal Experience
Nuthan’s path to entrepreneurship was unconventional. Before founding Me Met Me, she had a thriving corporate career as the regional manager handling the Asia-Pacific market for brands like Oreo, spanning across 11 countries from Australia to India. While she excelled in business strategy and brand management, life took an unexpected turn in 2010 when she faced severe health challenges.
She was diagnosed with depression, anxiety, and insomnia, alongside a host of physical ailments. One of the most shocking manifestations of her condition was trench mouth, a rare stress-induced affliction last commonly seen in World War I soldiers. Her body was failing her, but instead of succumbing to despair, she asked herself a crucial question:
“If my thoughts and emotions can cause so much damage, could they also heal me?”
This question led her on a deep journey into behavioral science, neuroscience, yoga, Ayurveda, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness. She became her first test subject, experimenting with holistic interventions to heal herself. When she successfully reversed her health issues, she knew she had to share her discoveries with the world.
Building Me Met Me: The Science of Happiness
In 2013, Nuthan founded Me Met Me, a platform dedicated to creating science-backed, multi-sensory well-being solutions that help individuals and teams thrive. Her approach blends:
- Ancient wisdom (Yoga, Ayurveda, Mindfulness)
- Modern science (Neuroscience, Behavioral Research, Hypnotherapy)
- Innovative interventions (Experiential learning, Therapeutic Perfumery)
Her flagship program, The Happiness Project, is a ten-session intervention that significantly improves the quality of life and social relationships, equipping people with the tools to prevent burnout. The project has been published in The Journal of the International Neuropsychological Society (Cambridge Press) and is currently being tested in the Netherlands.
With over 30,000 clients and 55 corporate organizations benefiting from her programs, Nuthan has successfully positioned Me Met Me as a leader in the well-being space.

Breaking Barriers: The Challenges of an Entrepreneur
Despite her success, Nuthan’s entrepreneurial journey was not without challenges. Being an introverted researcher with limited business experience, she initially struggled with finance, sales, and operations.
However, her curiosity and discipline led her to seek mentorship. At IIM Bangalore’s NSRCEL, she learned the essentials of building a sustainable business. Her mentor, Prof. Sunil Handa, played a pivotal role in expanding her vision to Europe.
Shark Tank India: A Defining Moment
A major turning point was reaching the finals of Shark Tank India (Season 1). This experience pushed her out of her comfort zone, especially in areas like financial negotiations. While she didn’t secure funding, the journey validated her business model and brought national recognition.
Expanding Globally: The Netherlands & Beyond
In December 2023, Nuthan relocated to the Netherlands, recognizing a pressing need for well-being interventions in Europe. Burnout affects 1 in 5 workers in the Netherlands, costing employers €3.3 billion annually.
Her strategy includes:
- Consulting with corporates to enhance team well-being.
- Scaling The Happiness Tour across Europe, starting with the Netherlands, UK, and Austria.
- Collaborating with research institutions to validate and refine interventions.
Her mission remains clear and powerful: “Wellness That Works”—solutions that are effective, scalable, and scientifically validated.
