For Sarthak Bansal, real estate is not merely about constructing buildings—it is about shaping communities, fostering connections, and enriching lives. As the driving force behind Shiv Kamal Realtors (SKR Housing), he carries forward a 35-year-old family legacy while steering it into a new era of innovation, sustainability, and human-centric development.
Born into a family of respected builders—founders of Bansal Builders in 1985—Sarthak grew up surrounded by the art and discipline of construction. Yet, when he officially took charge in 2019, he did not simply inherit the business; he transformed it. Armed with an MBA in business strategy and infrastructure management, he brought fresh perspectives to an industry often resistant to change. His vision was clear: to create not just structures, but spaces that nurture aspirations and improve quality of life.
“Every building we make is part of someone’s story,” Sarthak reflects. “It’s where dreams are born, businesses grow, and communities thrive. We owe it to people to build responsibly.”
Today, SKR operates across Delhi, Gurugram, and Jaipur, with more than 80 projects completed since its inception. These range from luxury residences to high-performance commercial hubs—each designed to integrate seamlessly with its surroundings, adding social, economic, and environmental value.
Sarthak’s path, however, was not without its tests. Taking the reins at just 26, he faced skepticism from vendors, delays in project execution, and resistance to his modern approach. But his resilience became his greatest asset. “Resilience matters more than reputation,” he says. “Consistency is what earns trust.” Over time, his results silenced doubts, proving that youth and innovation could co-exist with legacy and reliability.
One quality that sets Sarthak apart is his emotional intelligence. He leads with empathy, listening closely to his team, customers, and partners, and ensuring that decisions are as people-focused as they are profit-driven. This balance has allowed him to cultivate long-term trust in an industry where short-term gains often take precedence.
He draws inspiration from two worlds—close to home, from his father and uncle, whose integrity and work ethic set the foundation for his values; and from global visionaries like Mohamed Alabbar of Emaar and Ratan Tata, who blend large-scale ambition with social responsibility.
Looking ahead, Sarthak envisions a real estate sector that prioritizes transparency, sustainability, and integration with urban infrastructure. He believes in stricter green building norms, customer-first policies, and a future where technology complements human insight. “We’re building for the future—our responsibility goes beyond today’s market to the generations that follow,” he notes.
His contributions have earned SKR recognition from Adani Cement, Gaur City, Unity Group, and Rathi Steel, along with awards such as the Appreciation Award by Kamdhenu TMT Bars, Sales Excellence from Rockstrong Cement, and the Contribution Award from the All India Business Association. Yet, for Sarthak, the most meaningful reward remains the trust of repeat customers—those who return project after project, knowing their investment is in safe hands.
To young professionals aspiring to enter the field, his advice is grounded yet visionary: “Know what you want to solve. Respect your team. Honor your word. Learn from the ground up. Technology will shape the future, but human judgment will always guide it. Build not just for the present, but for the generations to come.”
In Sarthak Bansal’s eyes, real estate is not just a business—it is a lifelong commitment to creating places where life can flourish. Through Shiv Kamal Realtors, he is proving that when purpose drives progress, every brick laid becomes a building block for a better tomorrow.
