The establishment of ‘Saraswati Enterprises’ had never been a sailing ship for Maneesha, as societal pressure and people’s thinking that ‘women can’t do such thing’, used to disturb her, but this woman entrepreneur was destined to do something unique, and she did indeed!

The Rewari, Haryana- based Maneesha has experienced the worst condition of the Delhi-NCR environment in which it’s even difficult to breathe. The thought of ‘how our children will survive in this polluted environment!’ shook her to do something to save our environment. Having accomplished M. Sc Chemistry and M. Phil with 3rd Rank in India, Maneesha Mittal has always been in awe of Dr. Abdul Kalam’s teachings, and always wanted to give back to the society we live in.

She comments, “Every person likes green and pollution free environment but no one wants to work upon it”.

It had been an arduous task for her to make people aware of the fact that this polluted environment is a wreaking havoc hovering over our heads. Even the people living in Delhi-NCR, who face major problem of pollution, took some time to get convinced about Maneesha’s idea of designing landscapes and iconic gardens. While explaining the pros and cons of the current condition of the environment and the work style Maneesha and her team adopts, they eventually found an opportunity in the sector.

Talking about struggles for establishing ‘Saraswati Enterprises’ , she shares that she has been criticized by people by saying that this work is for lower class people and being an educated woman, how can she be doing such a task! All these comments couldn’t stop her from chasing her dream and this passionate woman entrepreneur soon took the world by storm through her aesthetic​ally pleasing garden designs.
