Being recognized by “Transformational teacher’s award” by Sharda University and recipient of prestigious “A.K.S. Global Teachers Award”, the year of 2019 has been truly rewarding for this educationalist from Uttarakhand’s Rudrapur. Teaching is not only a profession but a passion for Shivam, who has been into the industry for last 8 years. Education is the foundation of our society and to make it strong, one needs to impart quality education to the kids of this country. Shivam believes that through his venture, he is giving back to the society.

Though now recognised as a successful teacher cum entrepreneur, the starting was never a smooth one for him and his venture – Jaycees Public School. He has to overcome all challenges that came his way. Applying new methods, building up rapport with students, inventing new effective ways of teaching were not that easy. But being a true mentor and motivator who emphasized with his students, the challenges eventually fell in place. Whilst his peers focused on business, he always wanted to impart quality education and that made the difference.

To become a teacher was inherent as his parents have been the greatest teacher and inspiration to him. The values taught to him is what he now passes on to his students. Shivam recalls “My ideals are my mother and father along with my entire family. They taught me to respect honesty and truth. Because of them today I lead my career with a sense of dignity and pride.” It’s by virtue of the family support, he could sail through the rough waves of entrepreneurial expedition.

As a student Shivam faced many difficulties which he wanted to get rid of only by being a teacher. While serving as Head of Economics department in Delhi Public School, Aligarh, he employed few of his methods and succeeded. Later after joining Jaycees Public School, he made all round progress under the able support of Mr Surjit Singh Grover, Honourable Chairperson of the school. Today being recipient of various awards is the testament to his success story in the field of education.
As a person, Shivam is a lifelong learner and can adapt to any kind of situation easily. It is his straight forward approach, promptness to help students, self-confidence and good human nature have made him a strong entrepreneurial character.

Being from a small town, he rightly uses his talent, resource and energy to be an achiever in the world of entrepreneurship. And his story will always be an inspiration to others, who want to make it big in the education segment. Educating a child always brings in inner happiness and sooths the soul, which no other venture would provide. He always felt pleasurable in accompany of his students which makes his work more exciting with dedication and perseverance.
