A simple man coming from Andhra Pradesh, achieves his dream and becomes a successful professor who reforms the society with the power of knowledge!

Mr. Y. David Solomon Raju is an honourable professor who has been in this profession since a long time now and takes immense pride to be able to someone who has the ability to guide the youth i.e the young generation. Teachers and professors are considered to be the reformative figures of our society who help people to have a greater vision of life through the path of knowledge and wisdom. Mr. Raju is one such professor who is immensely devoted in his job and looks at it as a service that he is offering to the society.

“I never thought I would be in this Profession I believe its Gods will and his Grace with time that has made me to enter into this Profession of teaching.”

Teachers and professors shape the identity of the society by guiding the youth with their knowledge and wisdom. Mr. Raju is one such example who has been serving the noble purpose with all his heart and soul. He was born and brought up in Andhra Pradesh and his basic schooling has been completed there. Later he completed his graduation from Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College (VRSEC), which happens to be the first private institute to offer the undergraduate course in engineering in Andhra Pradesh. He understood the importance of education and the need to spread awareness about it in the society.

He is someone who never stopped believing in himself and kept doing what he does best. Later he joined in CMR Institute of Technology as an assistant professor for one year. Afterwards, he joined the Holy Mary Institute of Technology & Science as an Associate Professor and currently he has been “ heading the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in Holy Mary Institute of Technology and Science.”

Raju had never really thought of getting into teaching. He never really imagined he would take up teaching as his profession but somehow everything took place one after the other and he realized it was his call and he got into teaching. He believes it is nothing but God’s will and by God’s grace he is being able to serve the society in such a huge way as a professor. He has been inspired by Dr. P. John Paul, Principal of MRCE from Hyderabad, who has been inspiring him since he shifted to Hyderabad. He always wanted to be like him as a teacher and to have the “tiny particle of his passion towards teaching.”

Mr. Raju has achieved several awards which include but are not limited to:

1. Bharat Ratna Mother Teresa Gold Medal Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Education on the occasion of 41^st Unity national conference by Global Economic Progress & Research Association (GEPRA), New Delhi

2.Research Excellence Award 2019 by Institute of Scholars(InSc) for the publication title Implementation of Solar Tracker Using Arduino in JASC: Journal of Applied Science and Computations Volume VI, Issue II, February 2019, Page No:713-720, ISSN : 076-5131

3.”Dynamic Teacher of the Year” at International Education Awards, GOA 2019.

4. Awarded Official Spotlight Certificate in EET CRS – 8th Academic Brilliance Awards-2020
