Entrepreneur Saurabh Mital, Founder – ‘TanShades Marketing Pvt Ltd’, is an artist and a connoisseur of good things in life who loves to invest in life experiences instead of living a materialistic lifestyle. A dreamer and a foodie for life, he lives life his own way.

“Living in a world of immense possibilities excites me to explore and implement distinctive ideas because everything is possible if you have a positive outlook and a burning desire to achieve big in life”, he shares.

Saurabh has diverse experience in the corporate world spearheading lead sales and marketing roles in MNCs. It was only after working for some of the big companies, he realized that his heart lies in creating something of his own. His innate desires led him to venture out his company ‘TanShades Marketing Pvt Ltd.’, which is a lifestyle products brand. 

He admits “Leaving a lucrative job aside and starting afresh for reinventing myself, was an unnerving experience for me but a strong desire and family support helped me to take the leap of faith. It has bestowed me with a sense of greater balance, responsibility, tranquility and fuels my passion for living the new life everyday and going the extra mile.”

Saurabh is a Marvel Comics fan. He admires the ‘Iron Man’ as his favorite character. He insists “But the person, to whom I look up to, is ‘Elon Musk’ – the real Iron Man. I am inspired by his curiosity and his hunger for learning new things. His achievements such as manufacturing electric cars as powerful as fuel cars, making travel super fast and his contribution in finding opportunities outside the earth for sustenance, makes me wonder about his extraordinary thought process.

In his business market, even though the segment was largely tapped, Saurabh realized a huge gap between quantity and quality. His extensive data research and immense study of the marketplace made him stand out. 

“If you can provide consistent quality and evolving styles to your customers, you are halfway there”, he admits.

Saurabh shares, “Challenges and struggles in my journey so far have contributed to a rewarding life experience. Being born to an army officer’s family, we had to change places. Changing schools and friend circles was both challenging and uplifting for me as it moulded the frame of life for me. But in my entrepreneurial journey as well as in corporate life, my biggest struggle has been to deal with mediocracy and lack of quality talent around me. Another thing I fear is complacency setting in great talent pool of today which I feel is the biggest step in anyones downward journey.

He allergy is mediocracy in people around him rising above mediocracy is integral to who he is and the audience he desires to capture.
