In pursuit of making healthcare affordable & manufacturing cost effective medical equipment

Mr. Partha Bhattacharyya – MD, X-Tech Medical Systems Pvt Ltd.

With an aim to provide affordable as well as high quality medical equipment such as X-ray machines (LF & HF), OPG, C-arm (LF&HF), Digital Radiography and X-ray tables; Partha Bhattarcharyya with immense experience in this field had setup his manufacturing unit in Hooghly thereby marking a start to his entrepreneurial journey around 3 years back. Within such short span of time, his X-Tech Medical Systems not only have been service providers to different State & Central Government Hospitals and other establishments, but bagged ISO 13485:2016, ISO 10002:2014, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001: 2015 for quality, customer satisfaction and environmental impacts.

An Electrical engineer with MBA in CRM, Partha started his career with top level X-Ray manufacturers and subsequently went on to establish many SMEs in the healthcare space. He has been creative, problem solver, consistent performer with excellence in efficiency, productivity and quality. His entrepreneurial expedition started in 2017 with X-Tech, when he decided to manufacture quality machines that’s affordable yet can compete with MNC brands. Registered under Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt of India as a Private Limited Company, X-Tech has achieved license from BIS (The Bureau of Indian Standards) and Commercial Production License from AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board); as a result all models manufactured by X-Tech are approved by BIS, AERB, FDA and CE.

Throughout his professional life, Partha has idolised Ratan Naval Tata, whose humble background and visionary approach towards industrialization has inspired him to move forward in spite of all hardships which came along his path. When asked about the reasons to start all by his own, he says “The pain of poor people and their inability to afford medical expenses encouraged him to take the entrepreneurial path and develop the most budget product that’s innovative as well as maintains all international standards. The aim is to provide healthcare services from ground level to top level citizen of our society.”

Partha has been a thought leader in the segment and always wanted to eradicate the dependency of foreign manufactured healthcare instrument or equipment. And as a result under the motivation of “Make in India” mantra, he went out of his way to manufacture all live saving medical equipment at his workshop in Hooghly. He also aims high to expand in business both nationally and internationally in the coming years. He is a true entrepreneur – he is a quick learner and adaptive to changes. He is a visionary who wants to create a positive impact on millions of people and helps them to lead better work and better life. His X-Tech has won “India 500 Startup” award and has been recognised as one of the fastest growing company in its domain. However, Partha is relentlessly working towards making his vision come true.
