Intending to encourage women into making a livelihood, Veena started the company Veena’s creation. Veena has been bought up in Goa and is settled with her husband in Kunta. Being a part of the Zilla Panchayat, Veena has been traveling throughout her life and has seen many rural women who did not have any means of earning a livelihood. Upon inspection, she found that these women had immense talent but were devoid of any platform which could help them in showcasing their talent.

“Talent never remains hidden. A person with talent will definitely get recognized, even if it takes years to get the recognition for his/her talent and work.”

Veena’s creation is focused on empowering women and helping them in showcasing their talent to the world. She found that even terracotta jewelry exists and that people do not even know about this art, which gave her the idea of making it as a sole mission for letting people know about such hidden jewels. Slowly, Veena started encouraging the ladies in the rural areas in making such jewelry, which she showcased on various social media websites.
